Minimal suggested skills: camera assistance at laparoscopic procedures

Selection criteria: first come, first served basis, giving the preference to the EAES/ESS members; maximum 2 participants from the same department

Course objectives: to train basic laparoscopic skills including camera navigation, object manipulation and transfer, cutting, clipping, application of endo-loop, management of endo-bag, intracorporeal needle manipulation, single and continuous stitch, tumble square knot; plus theoretical elements of ergonomy, safety in surgery and FUSE

Type of skills assessment: onsite against benchmarks in peg transfer, cutting & suturing

Type of feedback: direct online feedback to the EAES office
